Figure 6 - Developed buds and plantlets regenerated from bean callus, originally derived from the meristem of shoot apex, on culture medium containing 40 mg/L ascorbic acid and BAP. This specimen is representative of a large group of specimens that was sub-cultured from calli on media containing BAP but without ascorbic acid. This former group, which only produced proto-buds, would have been a control group for bean calli on culture media with MG plus or minus ascorbic acid, and BAP.
